Product Range
Blades.
Super thin and sharp to enter the periodontal space, making dental surgery straightforward.
Elevation blades range from 2-5mm. Luxation blades 1.5-5mm.
We always recommend buying the set.
Why a set? As you move down the periodontal space, it will narrow & widen. You'll need to change your blades up & down as you operate.
How to choose your blade width. A rough guide is to go by half the width of the tooth root.
Periosteal elevation blades come as a set of four ranging from 2-8mm. Guess what? We recommend having a full set of these too! The size of the flap will vary depending on the patient size, tooth size and if you are creating a multi-extraction surgical flap.

Trays.
Our trays make life easier, doubling up as storage and autoclave trays.
They are appropriate for use in ultrasonic cleaners & vacuum autoclaves.
The handle tray CANNOT be used in a hot air oven.
Honing kit.
The honing kit; ultra-fine diamond coated steel card honer & conical honer.
The card honer is for the convex and straight edges of the blades.
The conical honer is for the concave edges of the elevation blades.
Remember sharpening will reduce the lifespan of blades by removing the thin sharp edges. Honing is a first aid technique for a bent blade edge; it can straighten a bent edge but won't repair a blunt thickened edge. Come on to our training sessions and we’ll show you how.
